The Paww Spa

By booking an appointment, submitting a form, or checking the box indicating “I agree to the Terms & Conditions,” you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms governing services provided by The Paww Spa LLC (“The Paww Spa,” “we,” “us,” or “the Groomer”).

1. Grooming Services

The Paww Spa LLC provides professional pet grooming services, including but not limited to bathing, brushing, haircutting, nail trimming and buffering, ear cleaning and plucking, flea baths, medicated baths, hand stripping, and tidy-up services.

Services may be provided in-shop or via mobile grooming, depending on the appointment selected.


2. Acknowledgment of Grooming Risks

You understand that grooming can be stressful for some pets, especially those who are anxious, elderly, aggressive, medically sensitive, or unfamiliar with grooming environments.

Despite our fear-free, one-on-one approach, grooming carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Minor nicks or scratches

  • Nail quicking

  • Skin irritation or allergic reactions

  • Stress-related responses

By agreeing to these terms, you accept these inherent risks.


3. Safety & Early Termination of Grooming

Your pet’s safety is our top priority.

If, at any time, continuing a groom becomes unsafe or detrimental to your pet or the groomer, the service will be stopped immediately. You will be contacted for pickup, and future grooming options — including coordination with your veterinarian regarding anxiety medication or sedation — may be discussed.


4. Health & Vaccination Requirements

You confirm that your pet is in good general health and free of contagious illness at the time of service.

  • A current Rabies vaccination is required for all grooming services.

  • Other vaccinations recommended by your veterinarian are expected.

  • We understand that some pets have vaccine intolerance and will work with owners when possible; however, Rabies vaccination is mandatory.

  • Proof of vaccination may be required prior to service.


5. Owner Disclosure

You agree to fully disclose all relevant information regarding your pet, including but not limited to:

  • Medical conditions

  • Allergies or sensitivities

  • Behavioral or aggression issues

  • Previous grooming difficulties

Failure to disclose accurate information may result in refusal of service or early termination of grooming.


6. Cancellation, No-Show & Tardiness Policy

  • In-Shop Appointments: Minimum 24-hour notice required

  • Mobile Appointments: Minimum 48-hour notice required

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the following fees:

  • In-Shop: $35

  • Mobile: $50

Tardiness:
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling. If time allows and a groomer is available, completion of the groom is at the groomer’s discretion.


7. Liability Waiver

By agreeing to these terms, you release The Paww Spa LLC and its staff from liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from reasonable grooming practices, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct.


8. Voluntary Agreement

All grooming services are requested voluntarily. You acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to discuss services, concerns, and expectations with The Paww Spa LLC prior to grooming.


9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any disputes shall be handled within the appropriate jurisdiction.


SMS Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

These terms apply to all SMS messages sent or received as part of the A2P 10DLC messaging services provided by The Paww Spa LLC.


10. Messaging Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in through our website, forms, or verbal consent, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from The Paww Spa LLC. Consent may be given via:

  • Website booking or contact forms

  • Paper intake forms

  • Verbal consent during customer interactions

Consent is not a condition of purchase.
